Parent View

You can use Parent View to give Ofsted your opinion on your child’s school. Ofsted will use the information parents and carers provide when deciding which schools to inspect and when and as part of the inspection.

You can also use Parent View to find out what other parents and carers think about schools in England.

At Bowling Green, what our children and their parents think is very important to us and so we regularly canvass their opinions.  Here are some comments from our annual surveys…

what the children think

"It's such friendly school and everyone looks after each other."

"I like being able to get house points and stickers for my work."

"My favourite lessons are PE and maths - I think we do both of those really well and are very competitive."

"I feel safe at school and know who to talk to if I feel unhappy."

what our parents think

We are very pleased with the way we are now having regular updates and even better that they are now on-line. We also like the fact that there are so many activities after school for children to choose from."

"The weekly gold awards are great, particularly as this involves parents coming into school when they are able."

"Both my children are very happy; it is a very welcoming school and all the children are polite and well mannered. A very good standard."

"My children love attending Bowling Green School and they are always keen to get to school every day."
