The ‘Learning Ladders’ approach offers schools the opportunity to personalize their curriculum to the needs of their pupils, with a bespoke assessment tracking, data analysis and parental engagement system built automatically and effortlessly around their needs.
It has been developed by schools, for schools, and has won glowing praise from pupils, teachers, parents. In May it won the DfE’s ‘Assessment Innovation’ competition*, Judges commended it as “clear, engaging and accessible for both children and parents”.
It is a totally new approach to curriculum design and assessment, data tracking and parental engagement that offers schools an integrated solution to managing the new curriculum, assessment, tracking and parental engagement. It offers the best of both worlds – award-winning, classroom proven content pre-loaded so you can be up and running immediately, but with the ability to completely customise every aspect as required.
Learning Ladders Online’ has been developed for schools, by schools. Everything we do comes directly from school’s ideas and requests. Hiltingbury Junior School curate the content, and the technology is built by a Social Enterprise who specialise in EdTech.
Now all schools can quickly and easily create their own versions of Learning Ladders online and in print, which automatically link to teacher assessment, progress tracking, data analysis and reporting to parents. At last, a system designed for teachers with everything in one place, all linked together!
Why did we choose it?
As the national picture of assessment changes, with the removal of levels, schools are free to choose their own form of assessment and tracking. We decided that it would really work for us and our children.
