Year 4/5 Class Teacher

Salary: MPR, fixed term from September 2017 to August 2018 (Full-Time)


We are a small village school with a strong family ethos that sets high expectations, recognises achievement and celebrates success for all our children. We are a thriving and happy school with a great team of staff and are now looking to recruit an outstanding teacher with energy and enthusiasm to fill this teaching post within Key Stage 2 for the forthcoming year.


The postholder will work collaboratively with senior staff and all other stakeholders to help move our school forwards from ‘good’ to ‘outstanding’. He or she will provide excellent teaching and will enhance teamwork through being a reflective practitioner and a strong role model thus ensuring that we maintain a culture of high expectations and aspirations within our school community.


We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner.

  • Has a passion for involvement in progressing our whole school vision, which drives the raising of standards.
  • Is a good team player, able to establish excellent working relationships.
  • Has a particular interest or specialism in maths.
